Maison Ratti draws its name from our family's history, which began in 1904 when our great-great-grandfather Jean Ratti founded Établissements Jean Ratti in Paris, specialising in the manufacture of confectionery machines. Four generations later, we chose to carry this heritage forward differently: by creating the sweets ourselves, rather than the machines that make them.
Since 1904. The family first designed confectionery machines for three generations, before the fourth generation began making sweets in 2026.
Tom and Arthur Morel, grandsons of Patrice Ratti, who still runs the family's confectionery machine business today. They chose to carry forward the know-how and recipes handed down within their family for over 120 years.
Yes. They rest on know-how handed down within the family since 1904. The detail stays in the house: that is what gives our sweets a taste you will not find elsewhere.
Yes, it is run by Patrice Ratti. Maison Ratti extends it rather than replaces it: the machines on one side, the sweet on the other.
